in trendy Silverlake, Hair Dooz has been serving up edgy cuts
and outrageous colors for over 18 years. Owner David Beckman
has pulled together a staff of colorists, bleach experts and
stylists who are dedicated to helping you achieve the latest
looks. From day to day, the ambience in the shop changes with
musical selections ranging from Billie Holiday to Nine Inch
Nails. Staff members are friendly and seem more than willing
to go to extremes, whether it's a bleached-blonde look, shaved
head or a bright pink bob.
Catering to a predominantly local crowd, the shop's reputation
for service and wide selection of hair care products has been
known to lure Westsiders and Burbankians to the wilds of Silverlake.
